For Torreyana, ISOP reviewed Steven Soderbergh’s Traffic as inspiration, along with field recordings and other raw data collected in and around San Diego, California. MPRNTBL is a net label dedicated to quiet music, slow sound, lowercase, free improvisation, field recordings, analog noise, and collaborative soundscapes. ISOP performs Torreyana
Intense Situations of Peril (ISOP) will perform a live, improvised interpretation of Torreyana as part of the 3rd Thursday series, {open}, 2226 E. 4th Street (at Junipero), Long Beach, CA, 15 January 2009, 8 PM, $3.
