The next release on MPRNTBL, Torreyana by Intense Situations of Peril, is online now. For Torreyana, ISOP reviewed Steven Soderbergh’s Traffic as inspiration, along with field recordings and other raw data collected in and around San Diego, California. MPRNTBL is a net label dedicated to quiet music, slow sound, lowercase, free improvisation, field recordings, analog noise, and collaborative soundscapes. Forthcoming releases from Aaron Ximm, Lisle Ellis + Marcos Fernandes, and Milwaukee Phonography.
